My Cats

Sunshine, the tortoise shell, was the first cat in my current group of three. She's the one most likely to greet company.

Moonshadow is a big boy - he was over 20 pounds when last weighed. He looks to be at least part Maine Coon.

Puppy was semi-feral when I first met him. He'd follow my neighbor and me around the neighborhood on our evening walks, just like a little puppy - hence the name. But at that time, he wouldn't let anyone get close to him, although he seemed to crave attention.

After about a year, he became much more trusting; he lets me pet him and pick him up. He spends some time in the house with the other two (who are purely indoor cats) - but spends more time outside.

And then there's Tuna Toes, who is still largely feral - but she does hang around more and more, is perfectly happy to have me feed her, and will even let me pet her while she's eating (but no other time). I think of her as my 1/2 cat - she's only partly mine. She's the one in the picture to the left; the one on the right is Puppy.
